I had an appointment this morning with my doctor to have him look at my elbow following the fall I had on 01.20.18. An x-ray was the first thing done and it came back that there were no fractures. The doctor performed a physical exam and can still feel that the tricep  tendon is attached. He said we can do an MRI to determine exactly what is going on but he believes that there is just some internal swelling and possibly some internal bruising. He suggested I wait a couple weeks and ice and take ibuprofen for the discomfort. That is the route we are taking. I have a follow up appointment in two weeks in case things still aren't right.

I am relieved that the tendon is still attached and that removed a tremendous amount of stress of my mind.

SO basically that I learned today is that I was just being a punk sissy. I've been through surgeries before, I've had pain post surgery similar to what I had pre surgery but I had never had an accident that affected the repaired area this soon post surgery and for over a week I just couldn't shake it. I even had the conscious thought that if I had the same pain in the right elbow I wouldn't think anything of it but that wasn't enough this time. I really don't know why I couldn't get past this one on my own but fortunately it was more in my head and I'm able to start moving past it now.
