It's been a while since I safety bar squats so I decided it was time. I used it a lot more over the years than I do now and the reason for that is my back is no longer a weak point. I put it in just to test to make sure my back strength has not regressed.
box squats with SS Yoke bar - box 1" above parallel
worked up doing doubles to 600 for a single
600 for 2 reps
600 for 3 reps
600 for 4 reps
block pulls - bar placement was just below the knee
worked up to 585 for 3 singles
GHR
bodyweight for 4 sets of 12 reps
Squats felt good and I'm planning on getting back in my briefs soon.
