I feel like everything with my bench is solid except it's weak. Building my strength to the level it was before my triecp surgery has been slower than I expected. I feel stable and there isn't any pain with the movement. At this point, I have to believe it's mental and that is something I'm going to have to push through.

 

bench press

135 for 20 sets of 5 reps

 

lat pulldowns

130 for 10 sets of 5 reps

 

shoulder fly machine

90 for 10 sets of 5 reps

 

h-raises

20's for 4 sets of 8 reps

 

Today's volume resulted in great blood flow and upper body pumps I've not had for some time. My thought process is that with more reps my confidence will build and I won't be hesitant working up in weight over the next few months.
