warm-ups

indian club swings, reverse grip dumbbell press, band pull aparts

 

bench - raw

225 plus 2 chains per side for 10 sets of 3 reps

 

fatbell tricep extensions

35's for 6 sets of 8 reps

 

lateral raises - chest supported

5 sets of 8 reps

 

reverse hypers

90 for 2 sets of 15 reps

 

The bench was actually moving better at the end of the sets than at the beginning. I loosened up and got some good blood flow during the first few sets and it really felt good at the end. I guess that is a sign of aging.

 

I also got a new pair of briefs today. I'm replacing my Metal Ace size 46 with a size 48. I've had the 46s since the 220 class and they have has the seams cut off the legs and the inside seams trimmed to allow me to move over the years. I think the new larger size will be exactly what I need for support and will allow me to get to parallel.
