Almost home!

We had an uneventful trip down to Columbus this week. My weight was just about right on track and I was feeling decent. I took both Thursday and Friday off of work so I was able to take my time heading down and not be in a rush.

Once we got to Columbus it was time to visit the sauna for a bit. I've learned over the years that the sauna is a powerful but dangerous weight cutting tool. For me, the best route is multiple sessions at about 1 hour total length, going 5 minutes in, 5 minutes out. It seems short because it is. Most of the time I feel good enough to keep going, but I'd rather get lots of breaks and cool off a lot in between. Maybe it takes longer overall but I feel less miserable in it.

Friday morning I was still a little heavy, so a little more sweating time to get it done. Probably another 75 minutes total with breaks. Not too bad. Made it easily coming in at 89.5kg.
