I have been competing in Powerlifting for 20 years now. Yeah 20. In this time I have won a few meets, set some records, maintained top 20, top 10, top 5 national/world rankings, accomplished some personal goals, met some wonderful people, made some great friendships, traveled this entire country to compete and get better, lifted at some awesome gyms, lifted with and against great lifters and have been blessed enough to be sponsored by the best companies in the business, EliteFTS.com, Usplabs, Metal Powerlifting Gear and Oxygen Factor. The best part of my entire career for me is that my daughter Katelyn Smith has been there by my side during a lot of it. She has traveled everywhere with me. Watched me achieve these things from her earliest years till now. She has shared this time with me that I cherish. I don't think I could have done it without her. I know I could not have. Katelyn has held my hand, sat on my lap and assured me several times during meets that she believes in me and I could do it. My daughter has been my inspiration. She has pushed me harder and accomplish more than she can ever realize. I want to thank you princess for all your love and all your support. You are my purpose. You are my driving force in all I do.
