Lower Deload

Well, freedom for the remainder of the week and then the start of my final semester of classes for PT school.  This week of doing nothing but study and take exams (literally) has wreaked havoc with my stress levels and immune system and I am sick on top of all the other nonsense right now, but it's just a head cold, no flu or bubonic plague here.  Although I will say that it was enough to floor me (again literally) during much of my warmups and very brief training today.  I probably should have called it when I kept laying down on the floor to rest between stretching and activation exercises in my dynamic warmup because that seemed like the only viable idea, but I didn't.  Too stubborn, plus I am going across the bridge tomorrow all day to Kernan Rehab Hospital to work with patients who have varying levels of tone as defined by the Modified Ashworth Scale, do a lab on serial casting, and be lectured by outstanding PTs on both of those topics.  So there will be no training happening tomorrow since that will be a solid 14-15 hour day including driving there and back and all the material covered will be tested on Monday of next week along with everything else from the semester.  So based on all of that, here is all I was able to put together today.

Squats

12x45

6x135

2x185

10x2x225 - Just straight weight.

Again, I was taking a lot of my rest breaks between sets on the floor.  Everything was awful, so that was all for this deload.  Most of the death I felt was due to the cold just knocking my the ef out like Debo did to Red when he asked for the beach cruiser back.
