Ever just have those days where you feel super strong, but something is up, and you just can't quite put your finger on it? That was me, today. I felt super strong, but while I was doing my heavy paused singles I kept getting loose on my chest. This was weird for me, and not my typical experience during the 90% week. Basically Casey told me to get my head out of my ass, and that seemed to work. I worked up to 260 for a relatively easy paused single, and alllll of the confidence, because everything finally came together at the end. This was followed by some brutal, super heavy pause presses to reinforce the "tightness" part I was trying to accomplish during my paused singles. Yay. The closer I get to this meet, the more I think about how flawless this prep has been. It's exciting and terrifying.
