I'm currently in a two week off season focusing on volume and more bodybuilding style of training. I plan to pick back up to more powerlifting training starting on May 23rd, 2015. My goal for these few weeks is to allow for a bit more recovery on my joints and just have some fun.

Sunday after the meet I went to the Elitefts compound to just hang out with everyone and spend some good time talking with Dave and picking his mind. I always pick up a ton of good information from him, and it's done nothing but help grow my own training philosophy. However, I decided since I just did a bench only meet that I wanted to train a little bit and not be a slob. I ate way too much over the weekend and I just needed to get moving and get something done. I warmed up with the prowler to get some blood flow to my legs since it had been days since they were stimulated by anything. I then went into some arms and that was pretty much it. I flooded them with blood as I was expecting my elbows to be feeling it from the shirt, but it was just all in good fun. This kicked off the first of my two weeks of transitional phase until I get back to more powerlifting training. My arms felt like they were going to explode, so mission accomplished.
