After having set an all-time PR on my equipped bench press with 457lbs, I'm taking the next 12-16 weeks to focus on hypertrophy training. My wife is beginning to diet to do a show within the next year, so I'm shifting this time to join in her footsteps for support. I'm hoping to compete again before the end of 2019.

Monday's training was a bit of a drag. I've been working a lot at my other job, and the weather is starting to take it's toll on me. Working in 85+ degree heat for 10 hours, then coming to the gym and continuing that while coaching has just zapped a bunch of my energy. Still getting the training in the best I can, just slowing my down a bit.
