In order to get a respectable total in my next meet I have to get my bench stronger. I've done 1 meet since having my left tricep tendon reattached and my bench was 100 pounds below my bench PR. I'd really like to get a bench PR but I'll be happy if I can make up some of that 100 pounds I lost on it.

 

Bench

worked up to 315 against a green band for 3 sets of 3 reps

315 straight weight for a single

 

dumbbell rows

worked up to 168 for 3 sets of 8 reps

 

lat pull downs

3 sets of 15 behind the head with 100

 

standing military press

95 for 3 sets of 15 reps

 

While the bench work didn't move very fast I was stable and able to push against the band tension without any pain.
