11/23 - Bench Press
I officially have 10 training days left at the academy! I couldn't be more excited to begin my career...but I'm equally as excited to get back into a more proper training routine. I've done pretty well hanging onto my strength and size while I've been here, but being limited to 2-3 days of training a week and having to train around the physical and academic demands of training has kind of taken its toll. Especially on my bench press. Today, for the first time in a couple months, I felt like I was benching like a 500+ bencher should be. Had the opportunity to hit this session on a Wednesday because of the holiday weekend, so feeling like I'm training more frequently made this session even better.
Bench Press
380 6x2, pause each rep. Speed was fast on these and my joints didn't hurt. It's been a while since I've been able to say that after beginning the academy.
CG Football Bar Floor Press
245+60 lbs chain 3x5
265+60 lbs chain 1x5
Incline DB Bench Press
85's 3x20 - been taking a note here from my teammates Casey Williams and Brandon Smitley about high rep DB work increasing their bench presses, we'll see how it goes.
Fatbell Tate Presses superset w/ Fatbell Curls (palms up)

Again, I reeeeally like how the weight's distributed with the Fatbells and how it feels on my joints. Donnie'/ on to something here. I'd like to have access to a wider range of Fatbell weights to incorporate them on other exercises.
Single Arm Grenade Pushdowns
4x30, no breaks between sides
