Holy shit, I am 22 tomorrow. That went fast.

Naturally I will be off participating in shenanigans of some kind and won't get an opportunity to log. So I'll take this time now to sit back for a moment and just reflect on the past year and what it has meant to me.

  • I was honored with the sponsorship of one of my favorite companies (EliteFTS, obviously).

My strong(her) ladies and I!

  • I became friends and teammates with some of the best people I have ever met.

  • I went through one of the biggest and hardest changes in my personal life, and became a stronger person for it.

  • I competed at the Arnold Classic, which has been on my bucket list ever since I started lifting.

  • I adopted a companion dog to go alongside my resident pup, which was the best spontaneous decision ever.

So very regal, Nacho.

  • I started BJJ and discovered a new passion within myself. 11887956_10153516196024061_7661516430730294193_n

AND I have a new condo and am moving in shortly. Whole lotta life happening lately.

Above all, this year has shown me that I can do anything that I want to do so long as I just go for it. I am never stuck. If you don't like your situation, change it. If you want something more than you have, work for it.

Given certain events, it's probably weird that I am considering this last year to be my best ever. But it really was. I have learned so much from my experiences and have had so many amazing opportunities come my way that it is impossible for me to not consider it my most fulfilling year to date.

Yeah, sometimes stuff sucks. But you bite the bullet and learn from it. No experience is a bad one if you took away something valuable. My life has changed for the better and every day feels like a perfect day.

I think all my years of paying it forward is finally paying off. 🙂 Here's to many more years in strength, happiness, and perseverance.
