Well it finally happened - I ended up missing a training day.  I feel like a failure because of it and I actually went out in the garage yesterday to try to get something in, but I felt guilty that I was not studying for midterms so I bagged it and went in to work on neuropathology.  Dammit.  As such I squatted today and this week's assistance day got nixed.
