Block 3, Week 5, Events @ Iron Strong  and the Unit

I trained at Iron Strong today to help out Jeff and Gregg with their training going into USS nats.  I also got to try out one of the events I have never  done before, throwing sandbags over a bar (BOB).  It definitely feels harder than kegs to me, but that might just be because it's new.  It was fun and I wish I were able to go to USS nationals this year.  T-minus 2 weeks until I'm no longer the national champion.

5x225 - switch to jerk boxes

I stopped here to go outside and help Gregg and Jeff.  Also, I switched to the jerk boxes because I am heinously sore in my adductors, glutes, and possibly high hammies to the point that cleaning even a light log makes me cringe.

BOB (Bag Over Bar)

30, 40, 50(miss) over 14'

30, 40, 50 over 14' - Happy about hitting the 50 pounder considering how jacked up my hip muscles are feeling today.

30, 40, 50 (miss) over 15' - I think if I had been wearing WL shoes and not insanely sore all around my southern regions that I could hit that 50 at the end of it.  Not today though.
