ME OH

Today was another good day.  I was back and forth between using 1 vs. 2 sets of chains.  I'm glad I stuck with 1 set this time.  The clean was noticeably more miserable and the jerks went well, but the chains highlighted some weak(er) areas of technique that I was not particularly aware of prior to doing this.

I've used bands and chains with log and axle for speed work on overhead press off and on for years, but have never used them specifically for non-speed work before and it was a very different feeling so I'll definitely be doing it again.

I wanted to keep going up, but there was a lot of uneven muscle activation in my low back and shoulders that led me to choose being "smart" over going full potato my first time trying this out with heavier weight.  This is also why I opted to do only 1 down set - the unevenness of what I was doing was causing a lot more stuff to feel like I was about to get hurt at the end of my first set after working up.

Solid day where I did everything I had planned except for curls and conditioning.  Taking baby steps to getting back on track with my training and nutrition.
