I'm doing as I thought I probably would and switching axle power cleans in for cleans for the foreseeable future.  I think this will help me more right now, though I'll have to work up heavy on cleans once in a while to see how it is affecting my numbers.  Conditioning did not blow my skirt up like it did last week, but I got it done anyway and it is still getting better slowly, but surely.

2x4x70 - This is not much weight, but it is a big improvement in both my strength and control on this exercise.  When I first tried this I literally couldn't do 70 lbs and could barely do 45 lbs.  On top of that, the eccentric part of the rep consisted of me letting the bar crash down onto my back as I had no control over lowering the weight.
