As I am getting closer to the competition my workouts have been upped in intensity. I am doing a lot of conditioning-style weight sessions to make sure that my cardio isn't slacking since I never know how many fights I will have to do back-to-back. You are not always blessed with breaks like you are in powerlifting!

All of these exercises are super-setted, and then repeated for 5 rounds. This was done after 2 hours of mat time. My workout tonight will look similar.

Front Squats

85 lbs x 10

 

Roll-Up Pistol Squats:

10 lb. sandbag x 6 (each leg)

 

Chin-ups:

5-8 reps
