I pulled conventional today from the floor and against the same bands I used last week. I went without the briefs and sumo to test a theory. I'm basically getting nothing out of my briefs when I pull sumo IMO. I pulled the same weight today from the floor as I did last week off 2" mats in gear and it should have felt "easier" in my gear. My hips still hurt too. They didn't earlier, but now they do with a vengeance. I may just go back to pulling on the same day I squat to save some abuse, but it means I'll need to pick up the pace.
