Deload Everything
I haven't done jack in over a week except for a couple briefs bouts of cardio on the airbike to loosen up and move because I've been studying for and taking my last exams of PT school. I've still got 4 more to go next week, but I'm hoping to be able to get in a decent overhead press day this weekend and then I'll be able to be back on schedule for some lower body speed work on Wednesday after I'm done. Since I wans't able to do anything all week, I did a little bit of everything today and most of it felt like trash.
Box Jumps
3x5xBW to 30" - This was the only thing that felt almost ok.
Axle Strict Press/Pendlay Rows
10x70/10x45
6x120/6x135
6x160/6x185 - The presses felt like poop.
2x{6x140/6x205} - The rows felt like caca.
Deadlift/Back Extensions
10x45
6x135
6x225
3x{6x315/15xBW} - At least the 3rd set of tugs felt less awful than the first set.
Things were going from bad to worse so I stopped here. Sadly, these deads were enough to make my posterior chain sore the next day. Back to studying now and hopefully back to a real regular training schedule in a week or so.
