Block 10, Wave 4 - Deload OH and SQ

Despite a great day of training on Saturday at Brute Strength Gym, I am still deloading this week.  It has still been 3 months since my last one and I still have more stress from more sources which is screwing with my recovery.  Further reinforcement that it's time for this nonsense came from the fact that I didn't have the desire to do more today when I was training, but everything I did felt good and I felt better when I was done.

Lots of extra soft tissue work with a lax ball to back, shoulder, and hips in my warmup today

Straight Arm Lat Pulldowns/Groney Squats

I've got a little bit of the idis starting up in the back of my left shoulder which is why I've taken pullups out of my training for now.  The straight arm lat pulldowns hit the sore area well without causing me pain or increased inflammation from doing them.  And I jumped on the Groney/sissy squat bandwagon to see what all the fuss is about.  I like them a lot as I seem to be largely unable to get any sort of quad pump except from TKE or backward sled drags.  I'm not sure if I'll use them for warmups or as an accessory yet (or both), but I definitely dig them.
