I decided to dumbbell bench first today to see if my form was better without being fatigued from barbell bench first.
dumbbell bench
worked up doing sets of 15 to 55's for 5 sets of 15 reps
cable tricep extensions
36 pounds for 5 sets of 15 reps
barbell speed bench against mini bands
135 for 3 sets of 3 reps
185 for 3 sets of 3 reps
standing military press with angle bar
worked up to 135 for 3 sets of 8 reps
Dumbbells felt much better performing them before the barbell bench. The speed bench went well too so now it's just a matter of rebuilding strength.
