Deep into meet prep, and after 4 weeks of squatting 700+lbs three times per week, benching 400+lbs 3 times per week, and deadlifting 650+lbs twice per week, you appreciate the little things. Like being able to wake up in the morning and NOT have burst blood vessels in your face, being able to dry your back off fully after your shower without a cramping pec or lat, and/or being able to make it through your first meal without wanting to take a nap despite getting 8 hours of sleep last night.

This is the hard part. The meet is going to be easy.
