Decided to dumbbell floor press today. I like the movement and feel it helps my lockout and shoulder stability a lot.
worked up 150's for 3 sets of 8 reps
barbell bench against light bands
135 for 3 sets of 3 reps
chest supported barbell row
135 for 4 sets of 12 reps
standing military press with angle bar
135 for 4 sets of 8 reps
I was actually surprised I was able to handle the 150 dumbbells without issue. I did strain on the last few reps of each set but felt in control and strong. Another step forward.
