Block 12, Wave 1 - Events @ Iron Strong CF

Got to train with (almost) big pappa Ryan today at ISCF for the first time in a long time.  He has obviously been putting in work though because he absolutely killed it today on overhead, setting several PRs on axle and doing so faster and smoother than ever.  Then to finish up training, I got to meet Rob "The Bicep" Olson, who came down to train the events for my competition coming up in 2 weeks.  Fun fact: Rob went to high school with my training partner Gregg.

Log C&J

complex x 90

complex x 140

2x190

2x230

1x250

1x270

1x290

1x300

1x310 - Almost muffed the jerk forward for no good reason so I cussed at the log at lockout.

Farmer's Walk (turns @ 40')

160' x 160

80' x 200

80' x 250

80' x 290

All my turns were piss poor today, so much so that I dropped 290 at about 60' because my right arm was twisted across my body and I couldn't correct it.  Easy finish after the repick.

Stone Over Bar (tackyless)

3x215 to 52"

3x250 to 52"

2x0x300 - Tried it without and then with tape and could get it lapped, but couldn't pull high enough cause I suck at tackyless 20" stones and my shirt was gripless.  Rob hit 2 or 3 reps here, also tackyless.

2x250 to 60" - I wasn't pulling back enough at the top on this set and missed an attempt at a 3rd rep.

3x250 to 60" - Fixed it, much better.

2x1x250 to 63" - This might be an all time height PR for me with any weight.  Big thanks to Rob for pushing me on this event today.  I haven't trained stones with anyone who could hang with me in a long damn time.
