Powerlifter and newbie JiuJitsu fanatic. My last meet was the XPC Finals at the Arnold Classic where I totaled 865 at a bodyweight of 132 lbs. Currently prepping for my next meet in December with XPC to re-qualify for the Arnold.

------------------

My wrist still isn't good enough to really do any heavy benching unfortunately, so I have had to forego that this week (again). But it's almost back to normal so I think that by Monday I will be benching again (thank goodness!)

FINALLY over that awful chest infection that I caught after the PLxp weekend. Sunday was my first day back in the gym so I kept it fairly light.

Guard passing has been my main focus for the past 2 weeks in my jiujitsu training. It is very challenging for me to learn to be loose and flowing when powerlifting training is all about being tense, tight, and explosive. It is good though, because it teaches me to slow down and feel movements rather than just trying to power through them. Maybe I will get some videos soon of this to add in here.

Lifting hasn't been as frequent as I would like it this week, but it's a start!
