The last month has been a blur. I've had lots going on in my personal life and life is GOOD! I pulled back on my training and have given priority to my relationship. I have been training but at reduced capacity and I feel great and am happy. I am currently planning on competing locally on October 31st and training will begin for that in the next few weeks. My strength is stable and my body weight has settled at just over 230.  I did train today and here is what I did...

 

warm ups - reverse grip dumbbell press, shoulder rotation machine.

 

slight decline dumbbell press

worked up doing sets of 12 to 115's for 3 sets of 12 reps

115's for a paused set of 8 reps

80's for a paused set of 14 reps

 

hammer strength chest press

1 plate per side for 12 reps

2 plates per side for 2 sets of 12 reps

2 plates plus 25 per side for 12 reps

 

chin ups

body weight for 5 sets of 10 reps

 

standing barbell military press

95 for 3 sets of 20 reps

 

Felt good and had a nice pump from this session.

Life is good and I've never been happier. I'm sure this will be evident in my next training cycle.
