After having set an all-time PR on my equipped bench press with 457lbs, I'm taking the next 12-16 weeks to focus on hypertrophy training. My wife is beginning to diet to do a show within the next year, so I'm shifting this time to join in her footsteps for support. I'm hoping to compete again before the end of 2019.

Friday night, so back to hard leg training and getting after it solo. It's been not the easiest week for me, as my family has been having some personal health issues lately. Training seems to be a good remedy for me for this.

Worked up to a hard set of 10; then two drop sets

B1) True Squat
Worked up to a hard set of 8

C1) Belt Squat
4x10+10
*For these I hooked up in close placement, then the hard placement. Basically a mechanically dropset.*

D1) Walking Lunges
4x10 per leg

E1) DB RDL
3x10

F1) Standing Calf Raises
5x10
*I used a 10 second hold at the top and bottom on the last rep of each set.*
