On Thursday I went in and had the epidural done at the C7 and T1 levels of my neck. I can't really tell you how it felt since I don't remember getting the shot done. Whatever "sedative" they gave me worked like a charm. I remember them wiping my neck down with alcohol and the next thing I remember is them saying they're done and helping me up from the table and into the wheelchair. Works for me.
Since the shot the burning pain had decreased substantially and I'm able to function somewhat normally now without having to stop and shake my arm out or maneuver my neck around to try and alleviate the pain. Sleeping has been a lot better too.
So I'll be riding this into my surgery date on the 9th of May when they'll put me back together again.
I want to thank Neal Cotton for taking the time out of his day to get me to and from my appointment. He's a good man and training partner.
