11/1 - Bench

3-1-0 Tempo Bench Press
The workout prescription was 435 for four doubles and it definitely wasn't happening. After warmups went terribly, I decided to opt for singles and doubles and call it there. But even that was an overshot - I missed a couple of reps. I was embarrassed at first, but then I reminded myself of the current conditions I'm under - I'm limited to training 2-3 times per week, while doing a ton of running and extra PT at the academy during the week, physically demanding training evolutions, a demanding academic courseload, and the pressure of preparing for final certifications exams. This is also pretty much the first time in my entire life where training is my second priority, not my first. I'm mentally and physically beat. After pouting for a little after the misses, I shook it off and moved forward with the workout. With the hip injury this past Friday, the bench misses today, and how I'm feeling physically, it's time to deload next week.
