Block 10, Wave 2 - Snatch/Assistance I @ Iron Strong CF

Today I was a dummy.  My left knee has been feeling great for about the last 3 months, and it's been 6 months since I hurt it.  Yesterday during my olympic squats it was bothering me a little bit, but I pushed through using the justification that the weight was light so I needed to stop being a pansy.  Then today doing my single leg jumps I tweaked it because I was trying to block out the indicators that I needed to pay more attention to it, not less and possibly reduce my volume or intensity or change exercises for a day or two.  Classic dumb dumb move though, I just kept pushing through like some clueless noob.  The resulting tweak was thankfully not enough to keep me from doing anything today, but it did serve as a reminder to pay attention to the signals my body is sending me in training and act in a way to prevent such stupidity in the future.  Hopefully this doesn't end up jacking up my event training tomorrow.

Elevated March Jumps

3x5ea x BW

Snatch

complex x 45

3x95

2x145

1x185

3x2x195

I only hit both reps on my first set thanks to some early arm bends, possibly caused by trying to reduce the force I was putting on my left knee.  I still had an early arm bend on my second  rep of my first set, but I managed to save it that time.

The New Tweeter Snatch Complex (lift off, hang power sntach, 2xOH squat)

1x115

1x125

1x135

1x145

It's like the New Tweeter Endzone Dance.  I liked this better than the Stupid Snatch Complex I did after snatching last time.

DB Rows

3x12ea x 100

Backward Drags

10x100' x sled + 90 - These lit me up in the quads and had me trying to talk myself into quitting around the 4th trip, but ef that es.
