After having set an all-time PR on my equipped bench press with 457lbs, I'm taking the next 12-16 weeks to focus on hypertrophy training. My wife is beginning to diet to do a show within the next year, so I'm shifting this time to join in her footsteps for support. I'm hoping to compete again before the end of 2019.

This training cycle I'm hitting my legs twice a week, but one this second day, I'm having my session work more on density and just getting a really good pump. This works well, as Tuesdays are usually a busy day for me so it fits the bill nicely that I still get to train, but it's a better session where weight isn't really what I'm after, but just that my legs feel like they are going to explode. Giant sets worked really great here.
