After having a year away from the platform and a terrible showing at the 2018 XPC Bench Bash, I'm gearing back up for a multiply bench only competition, the APF Pressing the Pieces Together on April 27th, 2019. This meet helps bring awareness and charity donations for Autism Awareness. I'm looking to compete at 132lbs and just have a good meet back, while running my new gym, THIRST, and rehabbing my low back issues.

This was my first leg session of meet prep, and right now I'm still not truly sure what I'm going to do with my leg training for this meet prep. I know I will at least train my legs once a week, but I have been toying around with twice a week, and I'm still not sure on what days of the week are even going to work best for my schedule yet. It will probably be something that I have to make work based upon the week and how busy I am. The gym is seeing a good growth in youth athletics for our sports performance training, which is our main revenue stream and goal with the gym. It's been a wild balancing act the past couple weeks, especially as we now have whole teams looking at us for their training needs. Good problems to have, but still needing to figure out the personal game plan as I can.
