After sustaining multiple low back issues the past year, and coming off a terrible showing at the XPC Bench Bash, I'm now I can do what's best for my body. I've recently opened up a new training facility, THIRST, so I'm trying to balance life and training the best I can, with hopes that I can compete in some capacity by the end of 2018.

Monday was my leg training, and I kept things somewhat simple, as I have my physical therapy session at IFAST later in the week. Since I didn't know what all that would entail, I wanted to get some good stuff in, but not kill myself in the process.

But the Saturday prior was our first RPS meet. Things went AWESOME, and we got a lot of compliments on an amazing meet, spotters, space, warm up equipment, time management, and just a fun atmosphere. We can't thank Iron Mafia for helping us out and running everything from the meet, and letting us do our thing. We had some incredible lifting, and all our lifters at THIRST did fantastic. We can't wait to have our next one, which we will be working on here shortly. If you're in the Midwest and looking for a good meet, I will post our next meet in my training logs for all to be able to see and register for. I did my best to help ensure the meet runs the way that I would want a meet to go if I was doing it myself.

I can't thank all of Team THIRST enough for all their help and doing an awesome job on the platform as well.
