On Monday I decided I would go to the gym...only because Yessie invited me for cake to celebrate Casey, Kat, and John's birthday's.  I could not decline.  I think Casey yelled at me 3 times to not touch any weights, perhaps he is starting to understand my need for a babysitter, either that or he's tired of me complaining about not being able to train...I'll go with #2.  I did sneak in 10 pull ups though...hey, they weren't "weighted".

Anyway, I did the same things that I have been doing for a while now, and just stared at everyone benching, wanting to join in.  Whatever. I have some updates though, again.  I mentioned in my last log I started taking Turmeric, which has seriously proven to already be really good for my body.  Look that shit up, you need it in your life.  I also ordered something called Wobenzym, recommended to me by Ellen Stein.  She's amazing, so I will give that a try to help out with inflammation as well.

I got a second opinion from another Doctor about my MRI, or I guess I should say that I'm in the process, he's only seen a couple pictures...but believes that there maybe be something besides inflammation coming into play.  Honestly, the Ortho I went to looked at my MRI for about 2 minutes before seeing me, so there's that.  EITHER WAY.

I also did yoga on Monday night. Bikram, which was hot yoga.  It was extremely challenging, but I got a lot out of it. However, some of the movements with rounding my back did actually bring me a lot of discomfort, so I'm not exactly sure if yoga is good for me to be doing right now.  It's something I want to make a part of my regular routine whenever I'm healthy again, it was great, honestly.

Weight is at about 188, which is also fantastic, considering it's the holidays and I haven't ever just followed a plan, loosely, and lost weight.  I guess there is something to this whole balance thing.  I'm super stoked to see what happens when I add in cardio and the gym again...some day.  Ugh.  January 7th is 6 weeks no gym.  I'm hoping I can start to get back into some kind of routine come then.  I think I'll start with strictly upper body and still no loading of my spine, and then just kind of go from there.  I'm excited to get back...I hope soon.  I've done a lot of work on myself, mentally, over the past 4 months and I'm eager to see how everything can come together for me.  2017 is going to be Tarra 2.0 and I cannot wait.
