I've done set ups for years and I think they really help my balance and lower development. I put them back in my unscripted training routine a few weeks back and decided today was the day for more.

 

low box step ups

bodyweight 20 steps each side

the following were done holding dumbbells

35's for 2 sets of 10 steps each side

60's for 3 sets of 10 steps each side

75's for 10 steps each side

 

inverse curl

doing sets of 8 worked down to 2 plates and a quarter of assistance

2 plates of assistance for 5 reps that turned out to be max effort and I almost face planted. I probably need a spotter for these.

 

dimel deadlifts

4 sets of 12 reps

 

good mornings with empty bar

3 sets of 10 reps - these were done to stretch my hamstrings
