I’m currently in off season mode working on bringing up certain qualities and weaknesses I noticed from the IPA Grand Prix Nationals. This training will be laying the ground for my training cycle into the 2016 XPC Finals.

Wednesday I went in and got in some extra lower body work. This was a bit of a fun day of training but some solid work nonetheless. Lots of blood flow work still and just enough work to get me sweating and working hard. I went ahead and decided to squat (really light though) because I knew I'd be taking my dad out to eat for Veteran's Day and I wanted to be able to enjoy the food a bit more, and I knew if I worked moderately hard, I could get some of that food at least shuttled in for some recovery. I still left feeling really good afterwards and felt loosened up from Tuesday, so mission accomplished.

Thanks for the excellent content and logs, really helps a lot with my own training. Nutrition question for you. Do you generally follow the same intra/post workout nutrition on these extra session days? Specifically do you use the Nutrabio Super Carb on the extra session days or back off? Thanks man.
Thanks for the kind words and glad the log is helping your own training, always great to hear.
On these extra sessions, I do not have the HBCD (Super Carb) as these sessions are usually pretty short in nature and only really to facility recovery. I will drink an intra workout drink, but it only contains about 3 grams of BCAA's to make sure that I have ample aminos in the blood stream and to immediately kick start protein synthesis and recovery. The carbs before and after training have seemed to be plenty when it comes to glycogen retention and refill. Thanks for the awesome question!
