After nearly a 3 week layoff, spending time with my family and sleeping in/taking naps I made my way back in to OBB today. Sadly I wasn't as enthusiastic as I should have been and pretty much forced myself in. It was kinda nice being able to get up in the morning and not have all my joints hurting and making sure I took my celebrex and tramadol with my morning coffee. But now that I'm back in it shouldn't be so hard to do so from here on out and I was good to see everyone at the gym again...some of them had thought I'd retired. haha
I also went and had MRI's done on my left elbow and lower back yesterday to try and get some answers as to why they are hurting so much. The MRI on my beck went fine, but the elbow part was entertaining. Since my arm doesn't straighten all the way out it she had trouble getting the MRI contraption over my arm and when she did it got stuck on my upper arm. She had me lay on my side, but then I wouldn't fit into the tube so I finally had to lay on my stomach in a superman pose with my left arm outstretched over my head for her to get me into the tube and finally get the pictures done. I should know sometime next week what the images show.
