The Arnold Classic is this coming weekend in Columbus and hotels are already filling up and traffic is increasing. While I don't spend much, if any, time at the expo anymore I do enjoy seeing people I know who come to town for the event.
While I was training today at S5 Matt Vincent walks in with Josh. Matt was in town for the Arnold and came by to do a pod cast with Dave. I haven't seen Matt in probably 5-6 years and honestly didn't recognize him at first. Matt was a world class thrower before injuries changed his path and has always been a fun guy to be around. He used to come to the compound several times a year to train. If you don't know him, look him up. He's a great guy and has a company called HVIII. It was good having a few minutes to talk to him today.

Westside Barbell belt squat machine for walks
so basically the design of the machine allows you to walk around the platform for some great hip work. I learned this last weekend so I gave it a shot today. 1 plate per side for time walking around the platform whooped my hips in a way I did not expect. Great hip training on this machine. I will be doing these.
