After sustaining multiple low back issues the past year, and coming off a terrible showing at the XPC Bench Bash, I'm now I can do what's best for my body. I've recently opened up a new training facility, THIRST, so I'm trying to balance life and training the best I can, with hopes that I can compete in some capacity by the end of 2018.

Final week of this training wave, and things are starting to click relatively well for everything. Still chipping away ever so slightly, but to actually feel good and confident with the weights I'm working with, and being smart about slowly progressing my weight limits each week I think is doing wonders for me. I'm in no rush, and would rather take my time to progressively overload and get where I want to be. Even my accessory and supplemental work have been feeling good. I think doing some form of good morning is doing a ton to build my confidence, but also re-strengthen my erectors back from square one, so that I don't have a limitation strength wise when I need to actually give some solid effort. I'm kind of rambling at this point, but I just want to get back to where I can train regularly again and at least get back on that platform one last time on my terms. It eats me alive every day now that I'm consistently helping members of our gym reach their own PR's.
