This was my first wave of 3x3 work sets in full gear, squat suit, briefs and a light wrap. I've never done reps in full gear so the only thing I knew to expect was that I'd either blow off one of my nuts or pass out. Thankfully, neither happened and my family lineage is protected...for now.

I can definitely see how repping out sub max weight in full gear can be helpful. It forces you to fight through the pressure and gain confidence as you bang out each rep. Plus I can just tell my trunk will get stronger from handling that heavier weight for repetitions.

Basically I keep on adding band tension until I hit a single that is a ball buster to get my baseline strength with bands.
