After sustaining multiple low back issues the past year, and coming off a terrible showing at the XPC Bench Bash, I'm now I can do what's best for my body. I've recently opened up a new training facility, THIRST, so I'm trying to balance life and training the best I can, with hopes that I can compete in some capacity by the end of 2018.

On this Saturday, my gym had a team cookout, and so all I had time for was my max effort work and the supplemental movement and that was it. But luckily, it was a PR day across the board. It was a good time at the cookout we had, and clearly my bench press has seen some good progress. It's been tough to put my training slightly on the backburner, but it's just what I've had to do lately.
