I’m currently in meet prep for the 2016 APF Equipped Nationals, in Orlando, Florida on May 28th, 2016. I will be competing at 132 pounds, raw with knee wraps. The big picture is to prep for this meet, and obtain a top three placing to qualify for WPC Worlds in November.

Sunday's bench deload was a continuation of Saturday's template. Just more blow flow work and staying loose. I did start my water loading, but merely just gauging where my current water intake is. It will only go up from here, but I needed to know where I was on a base level to make adjustments over the course of the week. Just an easy good session that served it's purpose.

Some of the Purdue Barbell members also came to train, as one member is in meet prep and wanted to take his heaviest lifts of the prep so I could see how things were looking and get in a good atmosphere. The rest just tagged along for some good training, and it was good to catch up with them and see that they are having a productive summer. I wish I could have went out with them to enjoy some grub, but I'll have plenty of food later in the week on Friday and Saturday with the Orlando Barbell family.

One more very light session and we're calling it a wrap! This prep seemed to drag on forever!!!
