deadlifts with smooth bar - at JP Carrolls request Dave had a completely smooth bar made for deadlifting....can the grip hold...
135 for a single
225 for a single

495 for a single - locked out but if I would have had to hold this for more than a second it would have dropped
When using this bar more focus had to be put on grip than with a regular bar. I attempted 495 for 2 more single and my grip wouldn't allow me to break the floor with it.

after the press, Dave said it's a good thing you only care about getting that squat because your bench is really lagging. He's right but I know I have more in me that what I've done post tricep surgery. I'll keep plugging away it.

185 for 3 set of 5 reps
