Block 12, Wave 3 - Throws & Snatch @ ISCF
After skinning my pinky finger on my first weight for distance outing, I opted to glove up this time and things went much better in terms of not ripping up my hand. Technique was marginally better, but that's like saying I only threw 5 lbs of poop around the room instead of 10 lbs. It's better, but still pretty shitty. Somehow snatches felt solid and light today, even after throwing before doing them. The only thing I can figure is that I was setting up slightly closer than normal to the bar and maybe I've been just a short and curly too far away from the bar the past few weeks when both snatch and clean have felt awful.

Weight For Distance 1 Turns
5x28 - What do you know, my power comes from my hips, not my arm. Shocking.

3x95
2x135
1x175
1x190
2x1x200 - No bump, no shuffle, no problem. But seriously, my technique was not great on these and I still hit the weights easily.
