There will be no training this weekend. Lily, myself and our two dogs left at 10:30 AM on a road trip to New York City for Lily's mom's birthday party. From our place to her parents is about 580 miles. This is our first significant road trip together and while I was very much looking forward to the weekend together I was unsure how the drive would go as I am typically not someone who likes to drive or be in a car for an extended period of time. I am happy to say that Lily has changed that. We had an excellent drive and enjoyed our time together talking, playing games and laughing. It was nice uninterrupted time that we both really enjoyed. It really is amazing how many things change when you have the right person in your life. For me that person is Lily and I enjoy every part of life with her. AND the dogs did great too...
