I went to the doctor for my checkup and was expecting the usual blood pressure check, cholesterol check, and conversation but since turning 40 things are getting more involved. We are doing a full blood panel including vitamins and hormones so this means I have to come off EVERYTHING. I'm not looking forward to this one bit.

This weekend was LTTX and it was a full house! My group was awesome and getting to see my friends and teammates is always great. Jo Jordan and I were in the same group and I consider him a good friend even though we don't see each other often due to him living in Flordia and me in Ohio. Catching up with him in person and getting to train on Sunday was nice. Of course, he squatted 1,000, which I believe was the first 1,000 squat at S5 so he showed up everyone. BUT for me, this is extra motivation to get there myself one of these days.

I only trained on Sunday and I benched. I worked up to 405 for a raw single. This is a post-surgery PR and I was very pleased. It's a few days short of a year since surgery and while it was a longer recovery I have no issues or reason to believe I cant achieve another shirted bench PR.

I spend the rest of the day helping and talking. Overall a good weekend...now I get to enjoy several weeks supplement free...
