For the week after the meet I just did some stretching and very light volume work. I was a little tight but had no injuries or issues from the meet. I only took 6 attempts so it really was less taxing than a max effort session. I'm not really sure what I will do next. I'm thinking about looking for a meet in February and I'm also trying to get Dave to train and do a meet with me. For now I'm just going to take it easy and try to identify some week points.
The rule has always been to not loose more than 10% strength or body weight during down time or off season. I'm going to stick with that during this down cycle and use that as my bottom line before I ramp things back up.
