Today was one of those training days, what I decided to do made no sense with my prep, was probably stupid, and most definitely counter productive to my end goal of deadlifting a shit ton of weight in three weeks. I am just suppose to be maintaining my squat as I prepare for a deadlift only meet. My deadlifts did not go as planned on Wednesday night. It was supposed to be a confidence booster. A night to go hit some heavy ass weight and leave happy. Well that didn't quite happen, so I felt robbed of my victory lap workout. I decided today since I was three weeks out that if I decided to work up to a max effort raw squat that I would be done squatting for the remaining weeks to let my body recover for deads. I will not deadlift this coming Wednesday so that will give me a week and a half rest of a lower body workout. I needed a release, a purge, and squatting heavy raw was what I felt I needed,
