The past couple weeks I have pushed squats a little to hard, I have gone into deadlifts still a little sore and tired. Squat day is one of my most favorite days and it is extremely hard to dial back both the intensity and the weight. I still need to maintain my squat to some degree as well too, its a fine line to walk. I think I did a better job today keeping this in check. I used a belt and knee wraps to keep the impact on my body a lot more minimal that it could be. I absolutely didn't need either to squat the weight but I'm trying to stay fresh. I've also been experimenting with oly shoes for my raw squats. I used a shoe with a much less aggressive heal and I liked it much much more.
